Patricia S. Walker, M.D. Ph.D

Senior Clinical and Medical Advisor

Dr. Walker is a board-certified dermatologist and industry expert specializing in the fields of medical and aesthetic dermatology. She has been in clinical practice for over 20 years, serving as Chief Medical Officer for Kythera Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., and Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer for Allergan Medical Aesthetics. Dr. Walker has led key product approvals, including the development and approval of Tazorac®, Botox® Cosmetic, Juvederm™, Hylaform®, Captique®, LAP-BAND® and Inamed® Silicone gel-filled Breast Implants. Dr. Walker received her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota College of Medicine, residency training in dermatology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed a fellowship at the National Institute of Health’s Dermatology Branch.

Dore Gilbert, M.D.

Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board Member

Dr. Gilbert received his Medical Degree from the University of Southern California in 1975. Dr. Gilbert served as Chief of Dermatology for 12 years at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA and is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Gilbert is also a certified physicians instructor for Allergan, Dusa Pharmaceutical, Endymed and Lumenis. In addition, Dr. Gilbert is the Medical Director of Newport Dermatology & Laser Associates in Newport Beach, CA, where he has been in practice since 1979, specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology, and the latest in state-of-the art laser and light dermatology.

Steve Yoelin, M.D.

Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board Member

Dr. Yoelin is a board certified ophthalmologist with a private practice in Newport Beach, CA. Since the early 2000s, Dr. Yoelin has expanded his practice to include facial aesthetics using injectable neurotoxins, dermal fillers and collagen stimulators. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Yoelin conducts research in various FDA- and investigator-initiated clinical trials pertaining to facial injectables. He has been the lead investigator on several pilot studies and trials, including one that led to FDA approval of a new aesthetic product at the end of 2008. Dr. Yoelin has established a nationwide reputation as an expert in the field of facial injectables. He speaks at professional events and conferences across the country, including every major ophthalmic meeting. He is highly respected by other physicians as a teacher of injectable procedures, as well as a trusted advisor on integrating facial aesthetics in an ophthalmology practice. Dr. Yoelin is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of California, Davis, and earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine.

Brian Zelickson, M.D.

Dr. Zelickson graduated from the University of Colorado in 1982 and the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1986. His post–graduate medical training included one year at the Hennepin County Medical Center and three years at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine. In 1990, he received special training in Immunoelectron microscopy under a fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He has published more than 60 medical journal articles in the field and has 15 medical patents including medical device patents and treatment methodology patents. Most recently, Dr. Zelickson developed and launched MD Complete, a skin care product line providing professional anti-aging and skin clearing benefits based upon his clinical experience, knowledge, and research. Although he has extensive training in all aspects of dermatology, Dr. Zelickson’s special medical interests include laser tissue interaction and teledermatology. He is nationally recognized for his accomplishments and contributions to laser medicine and surgery. Dr. Brian D. Zelickson currently runs a private practice in Minneapolis, Zel Skin & Laser Specialists.

Dr. Kamakshi R. Zeidler

Dr. Kamakshi R. Zeidler, a board certified plastic surgeon, is the co-founder of Aesthetx, the premier plastic surgery and dermatology practice in the Silicon Valley. As a thought leader and visionary in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Zeidler is a leading authority and clinical investigator who partners with companies to bring new technologies and innovative products to the field. Dr. Zeidler prides herself on being a bridge between the needs of her patients and these leading companies to help shape the way new products enter the market. An author and lecturer worldwide, her exquisite plastic surgery outcomes have earned her renown not only in the heart of California, but around the world. Dr. Zeidler is an advocate for women’s health and also serves on the board of directors of Cancer CAREpoint. Dr. Zeidler received a B.A. degree with honors from Rice University. She obtained her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Zeidler completed her plastic surgery residency and postdoctoral research fellowship at UCSF followed by an advanced microsurgical fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center.
