Thomas A. Albright
President and CEO, Board Director
Mr. Albright was formerly Chairman and CEO of Andrew Technologies LLC from 2011 to 2017. In the past, Mr. Albright was President of the topical aesthetic division at Syneron Medical Ltd. and before that Head of North American marketing at Nobel Biocare. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Albright was VP BOTOX Global Strategic Marketing at Allergan, where he led the U.S. launch of BOTOX Cosmetic and the commercial development of Latisse. He started his medical industry experience in 1983 at Parke-Davis division of Warner Lambert, where he was a Director of Marketing on the Lipitor launch team. Mr. Albright was also a Board director of Bonti Inc. prior to its acquisition by Allergan. Mr. Albright has a BS in biology from The Citadel and an MBA in marketing from Mercer University.
Senior Director, Manufacturing
Marlo Cinco was the former Director of Manufacturing at Inova Labs, focusing on the production of a portable oxygen concentrator. Previously, Marlo was Program Manager overseeing the release of the Solta (Thermage) flagship RF Generator, and he managed the commercial release of all disposable RF treatment tips. Marlo has also worked at Aradigm Corporation as a Project Engineer in the development of inhalable insulin for diabetes care. Marlo held the same position at Baxter Novacor in the production of an implantable heart pump used as a Left Ventricular Assist Device.
Darren Inouye, MBA has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in product launch strategies for CNS pharmaceuticals, ophthalmic medical devices including capital equipment and disposables, dermatologic & rheumatologic biologics, acute care hospital injectables, nephrology radiopharmaceuticals, and wound care products both in US and global markets. Most recently, he was at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, as Director, Strategic Marketing. Prior to that from 2009 – 2016, he was Director of Global Marketing for the LASIK and cataract IOL business. In addition, he was Director of Marketing at Amgen for the US psoriasis launch of Enbrel in 2003. Darren started his marketing career as a Product Manager on the Botox Cosmetic team at Allergan for the 2002 launch. Darren holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Senior Director, Product Development
Randy Jordheim has over 25 years of experience in product development as both a Mechanical Engineer and Program Manager. The past ten years have been focused in the medical field, helping develop and launch products that include Covidien portable liquid oxygen systems, Iridex laser systems for eye surgery, Solta intense pulsed lights systems for acne treatment, and Alpha Orthopaedics radio frequency device for tendinitis. Randy has been a part of the Recros Medica team since the company was formed in 2014. Randy has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis.
Senior Director, Clinical Development
Robin McIntosh has 25 years of experience in implementing and managing clinical development programs within the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech industries. Previously Robin consulted with Caladrius Biosciences, working on autologous cell-based therapy. Robin spent 19 years at Allergan, most recently as a Director of Global Development Operations, and worked on development programs for Rhofade, BOTOX Cosmetic and BOTOX for multiple therapeutic uses. Robin started her career at Chiron Vision Corporation managing LASIK clinical studies. Additionally, Robin is an instructor with UCI’s Division of Continuing Education. Robin holds a BS in Biology from Washington and Lee University, and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
Director, Quality Assurance
Richard Meader has over 40 years of increasing responsibility and authority within the pharmaceutical and medical device industry for Quality Assurance/Quality Control management, including and 27 years in Regulatory Affairs/Compliance. In addition to RA/QA responsibilities, his background also includes start-up and management for a pharmaceutical research and development function, resulting in the development and approval of several generic drugs and a unique dual chamber drug admixture product. Rich is currently consulting with an emphasis on assisting early stage medical device companies develop and implement their Regulatory and Quality functions. Rich is highly experienced in interaction with the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (Field and Center offices) as well as other state, federal, and foreign regulatory authorities.
VP, Program Management
Gail Sandford is an operations executive with 25+ years of experience leading organizations through startup, process improvements, mergers & acquisitions, and operational initiatives that transform organizations and drive down costs. Prior to joining Recros Medica, Gail was Chief Operating Officer of PFMG Solar, the leading solar company in the municipal and school market in Southern California. Prior to that, she held positions as Vice President at SM&A providing program management consulting to aerospace & defense, IT, and healthcare clients, and as Director of Boeing Proprietary Programs, responsible for coordinating efforts of 500 personnel in support of designing, developing, and manufacturing a classified space system. Gail holds a BS in Physics from North Georgia College, an MS in Engineering from The George Washington University, and an MBA from University of Southern California.
SVP, Chief Financial Officer
Kathy Scott is currently CFO of Recros Medica, Adigica Health and Neurana Pharmaceuticals. She was previously the CFO at MDRejuvena, Clarify Medical, Oncternal Therapeutics and BioSurplus. Kathy is responsible for all accounting, finance, banking, human resources, legal, and insurance matters, as well as advising the CEO and boards of directors on overall company strategy. Previously Kathy was a Partner at RA Capital Advisors, a San Diego private investment bank providing financial advisory services. She spent over 15 years with RA Capital Advisors, completing billions of dollars of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings for a broad range of corporate clients. Kathy started her career as an auditor in Arthur Andersen’s San Diego office, focusing on both public and private clients. A CPA and CFA charter holder, Kathy graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in economics / business.
